Our Philosophy

 

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Effective advertising is not pretty pictures, blaring headlines and flashy websites. We create work designed to sell product, boost marketplace presence and promote brand identity. We approach each project with ignorance. If you think you have the answer right away, you will not be receptive to a fresh idea.

So, we try to literally play dumb.

When we take on a project we don’t come to our client with answers. We first listen, and then we come back with questions, not solutions. As Jelly Helm from W12’s in-house ad school in Portland says “more often than not, the questions hold the answers.”

Our work reflects our clients; a diverse group calling for original thinking on a case by case basis. In our mold, one size does not fit all.
